Ministries at the ChapelShining the Light of Jesus Christ into the World
Chapel by the Sea supports many Missions and Missionaries. We believe strongly in being faithful to the great commission to spread God’s word locally and globally (Matthew 28:16-20). We believe that God has blessed the Chapel fellowship largely because the Chapel has blessed God by supporting missions!
“The mark of a great church is not its seating capacity, but its sending capacity.” — Mike Stachura
The Hope Mission, in Morehead City, provides the following services:
- Community Kitchen serving lunch 7 days a week
- Emergency Financial Assistance for residents of Carteret County

Contact Eli Hyden or Laura Hyden (email@example.com) for more information about the Hope Mission ministry at Chapel by the Sea. It is a great way to serve our community and shine the light of Jesus Christ.
Nursing Home Ministry
One of the many wonderful ministries at the Chapel is the Nursing Home Ministry. Whoever is able and lead to assist with this ministry is welcome to join together at the Crystal Buffs facility in Morehead City each Friday at 10:00. The time begins with prayer and then singing from 10:30 to 11:15. Then we escort (wheel chairs) to lunch room or physical therapy. As you can see from the smiles in these photos, the residents there enjoy this time where they are uplifted in prayer and in fellowship by those who love the Lord.
Please contact Paige Taylor for more information about being a part of this ministry: firstname.lastname@example.org
