Hey guys, save the date and plan to attend the Chapel by the Sea, Men’s Advance the weekend of February 23-25, 2018.
We will be meeting and staying at the big beach house in Salter Path, like we did last year. Staying overnight at the Big House, I mean the “Big Beach House“, is optional but it’s a great way to build Christian relationships and then loose them when the snoring begins. Ha. The T-Shirts have been ordered and the menus are planned.
The theme of the advance is “It’s Not Too Late … How God uses less than perfect people … a DVD study by Tony Evans”.
WHEN: 6 pm, Friday, February 23rd util 11 am, Sunday, February 25th
WHERE: Blue Grass Beach House – 709 Sandpiper Village E
DIRECTIONS: Take 58-E thru Salter Path;
Turn RIGHT at the WELCOME TO PINE KNOLL SHORES sign;
At end of road turn RIGHT;
The beach house is immediately on your RIGHT.
Park carefully to not block road.
WHAT TO BRING: Your Bible, a notebook & pen, & snacks to share. Handouts will be provided for the sessions.
STAYING OVER? Bring a sleeping bag (or bed linens), pillow, towel & toiletries (earplugs are optional). Don’t forget to pack your snacks!
PREPARATIONS: Pray for the session leaders (Clay, Robert, Mike and Mike) as they prepare; Pray for God to prepare our hearts & minds to receive His wisdom; Pray for unity among the generations!
ATTENDANCE FEE: $30 each or $10 students – The fee includes all meals, session materials, beach house expenses, t-shirt, etc. If you write a check make it to “Chapel by the Sea” with a memo “Men’s Ministry”.
