Hurricane Matthew Relief

Thank God, Emerald Isle was sparred from the full effect of Hurricane Matthew but the flooding in the low lying inland area of North Carolina have left many of our neighbors without power and some without a home.  Pray for those impacted by the storm and donate your time and money as you are able.  There are many good Christian organizations that have “boots on the ground” and are helping with Hurricane Disaster Relief right here in North Carolina.  Click on the links below to find out how you can help provide relief through one of these organizations.

Samaritans Purse Volunteers

Pray for those in Florida, George and South Carolina but especially pray for those in the Caribbean area where the Category Four storm is believed to have killed as many as 1,300 people.  On Sunday, Oct 9th 2016, Haitians attended church services to remember the dead, some worshiping outside because buildings were destroyed.  Pray for aid to arrive and relief the suffering in Haiti and  pray that a deadly outbreak of cholera will not occur as it did after the 2010 earthquake, when nearly 10,000 people died.
